Our Returns & Refunds* Policy
We happily accept returns if the item you purchased from us is:
b) does not fit the purpose for which it is commonly bought, or
c) does not match the sample or description.
Change of Mind Returns*
We also offer 7 day “change of mind” policy on selected items* (see below for exclusions). Items returned in this manner must be unopened in their original packaging.
*With your original receipt – you will be entitled to an exchange, refund, repair or in store credit note.
*Without your receipt – you will need to provide alternative verification of your purchase (i.e. bank or credit card statement).
Please choose your purchases carefully…
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase but recommend you read our policy to
ensure you are fully aware of your rights (and our obligations to you) under Australian
Consumer Law prior to making your purchase.
At the time of sale, we ask you immediately inspect any goods we supply/deliver (or you
collect) to ensure that you are completely satisfied that they are of acceptable quality and match the description we have provided to you.
But what if you change your mind?
We are not required to offer “Change of mind” refunds where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection, purchased an item contrary to our advice, or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere.
If you are however, not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us within 7 days and let us know why. Subject to exclusions* we may offer an exchange item, in-store credit or 100% refund if the item is a regular stocked item.
To qualify: the items must be returned unused, in the original packaging (with all instruction manuals, packaging and accessories). You must also be able to provide proof of purchase from us.
Returns and/or refunds of special and/or custom orders (ie items not usually in-store) are only permitted if the item is faulty. We do not offer “change of mind” returns on these items.
Any and all refunds will be provided using your original payment method.
*The following items are excluded from our 7-day “change of mind” policy:
- Earbuds & Headphones
- Phone recharge vouchers
- Other ePay vouchers
- SIM cards
- Tempered Glass
- other screen protectors (if applied to a device)
- Computer Software
- All recordable media (ie MicroSD cards, HDD, SSD)
- Phones/devices removed from box or with broken security seal
- Apple products where packaging is opened and/or shrink wrap is removed
- Instore Gift Vouchers
- Light Globes & Party Lighting
- Step-down transformers (240-100V)
- Constructed kits
- Wire by the metre
- Some tools & non-mulitmeter test equipment (ie Oscilloscopes)
- Postage/Shipping Charges.
- The item purchased from us is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
- The item is not fit for its intended purpose (ie it does not do what it is designed to do), or
- The product does not match the sample or our description;
Faulty or Other Returns
We will also accept returns and provide you with a refund (or repair) where:
You must also be able to provide proof of purchase from us even if the items are faulty and the goods must be returned within a reasonable time. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid. Goods returned as “faulty” will be assessed and/or repaired/replaced within a reasonable time. We may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. We may also provide you with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond our control (such as part availability).
We reserve the right not to offer a refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect and you may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply.
We will not be responsible for any data loss and/or data storage of returned devices and in some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Furthermore, we may elect to use refurbished parts to repair the goods.
Devices with User-generated Data Storage
If any goods you return under this policy are capable of retaining user generated data (ie like files on HDD, contacts/photos on a mobile phone and songs stored on a portable media player etc) please be aware that the replacement and/or repair of these goods
may result in loss of the data. It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal data is backed up and/or deleted before bringing the item to us for repair as any person assessing and/or repairing your goods may be required to view data in the course of carrying out the assessment.
